Fast-moving telco innovator Vonex, has been granted a US patent for its “Oper8tor” smart phone voice and messaging App, just as it completes third-party testing. Vonex said the patent validates the unique, cross-platform communication capability of the App and the upstart telco will now move to a closed user group for a review of the App's stability and scalability ahead of the commercial roll-out of the product.

Telco innovator, Vonex, is expecting its annualised recurring revenues to jump by 50% from next month when it completes the takeover of telecommunications and data wholesaler, 2SG Wholesale. The ASX-listed cloud-based telco said that it has completed due diligence on 2SG and its acquisition contract is now binding, with the deal expected to be consummated by months end.

Listed telco innovator, Vonex, has entered into a preliminary agreement with the Canadian company, Silverstream SEZC, to sell its legacy entitlement to future iron ore production royalties from the Koolyanobbing Iron Ore Project. Subject to a definitive sale and purchasing agreement being executed and certain milestones being met, Vonex will receive total consideration of AUD$2.5 million in three instalments.

Cloud-based telecommunications pacesetter, Vonex, this week banked $630,000 in rebates from the Australian Government's Research and Development Tax Incentive Program for eligible R&D activities conducted during the 2018-19 financial year. Vonex has gone from strength to strength since listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in June last year with the company now on track for a 30% increase in new customer sales year-on-year in the current quarter. The company expects sales growth to accelerate throughout the 2020 financial year while increased engagement with its social media indicates that Vonex's brand awareness is growing rapidly.

Australian telco disruptor, Vonex, has officially launched its partnership with Australia's largest business to business loyalty program, Qantas Business Rewards. The partnership allows businesses of any size in the QBR program to earn reward points for their expenditure on the company's products and has the potential to grow its brand awareness, recognition and sales growth.

Vonex's core cloud-based PABX telephony business continues to go from strength to strength with the ASX-listed telco now counting a milestone 30,000 registered active users on its books, a 25% increase in the last 12 months. The company also recorded new customer sales value of more than $1.3 million in the June 2019 quarter, which represents a 44% increase from the previous quarter.

Telco disruptor Vonex has opened up a new avenue to grow its brand awareness and revenue through a partnership with business to business loyalty program, Qantas Business Rewards. This partnership will provide exposure for the company's offering to QBR's 250,000 small and medium enterprise members, who will be able to earn Qantas Points on Vonex products and services from August this year.

Vonex has reached the final stages of development for its game-changing Oper8tor aggregated communications app that connects multiple communication platforms such as Skype and Whatsapp in real time. The company plans to carry out third-party application unit testing and load testing from the week starting 17 June to ensure that the app performs as expected at scale before announcing a formal launch date.

Vonex's decision to retain an iron ore royalty is poised to pay off after it received the first notification of royalties from the Koolyanobbing iron ore project. Koolyanobbing project owner Mineral Resources plans to ramp up production from 6Mtpa to 8Mtpa by the first quarter of the 2020 financial year and has started a program to extend its mine life.

Vonex continues to build its core business with the telco now counting more than 28,000 registered PABX telephony customers on its ledger, up from 27,500 users in March. This growth is due to a targeted nationwide marketing program and constructive engagement with its channel partners. The company has also posted a 20% year-on-year increase in new customer orders for the March quarter.

Vonex is continuing to build its sales momentum with a 34% year-on-year growth in new customer orders for February as it continues to sign up new channel partners and users for its cloud-based PABX telephony business. The company passed the 27,500 PABX users mark in March and processed more than 500 new customer orders through its channel partner-focused sales software, Sign on Glass.

Vonex is making solid progress towards commercialisation of its ground-breaking Oper8tor communications App with the company poised to make a “white label” version available to businesses next month. The company also plans to make the iOS and Android versions of the Oper8tor Conference app available for download in Australia in March, ahead of a commercial launch in Europe by July.

Upstart telco Vonex continues to steadily build its cloud based PABX telephony business with the company reaching a record of 26,000 registered users as at 25 January 2019. This is up 22% from the 21,000 users it had a year ago and is a key indicator of the company's business development progress as it expands its reach to small and medium enterprises.

Vonex has reported its highest ever monthly customer billings of $741,000 in November, a year‐on‐year growth of more than 13%, largely due to the market disruption caused by the continued rollout of the NBN in metropolitan areas and the start of its online marketing campaign across Australia. The company has also grown the number of registered cloud based PBAX users by 26% year‐on‐year to 25,800.

Vonex is progressing beta testing of its game changing “Oper8tor” conferencing app which allows users of multiple voice communication platforms such as Skype or Whatsapp to talk to each other regardless of which platform each user subscribes to. Vonex says it has successfully facilitated over 1000 conference calls using the app and it has now opened the beta testing of Oper8tor Conference via web browser to the general public.

ASX listed upstart telco Vonex's success in growing its cloud PBAX business continues unabated with the company now boasting 25,000 registered users as at the end of October 2018, up 25% from the same time in 2017. Further growth is expected as the second phase of Vonex's very successful marketing campaign across Australian capital cities hits its stride.

Vonex has launched its new Vonex Phone app that brings its cloud-based PABX system to the smartphone and computer desktops, allowing users to be connected to their business phone system from anywhere in the world. The company will generate revenue through a range of subscription plans with phone calls paid on a per minute or per call basis or a recurring monthly subscription which includes unlimited phone calls.

ASX listed upstart telco Vonex has signed on 12 new channel partners in the first quarter of the 2019 financial year as part of its ongoing efforts to accelerate business growth. The company has already signed up 6 new partners in the current quarter and is well on track to secure at least 100 new channel partners in the current financial year.

Recently listed Vonex is poised to start beta testing of its innovative Oper8tor APP that can seamlessly link voice calls and messages across multiple platforms and devices around the world. The company will seek to commercialise the technology via the teleconferencing service provision industry with Beta testing to involve up to 5,000 controlled users ahead of a planned launch of the ground breaking technology in 2019.

Versatile ASX listed telco Vonex's recent trial marketing campaign in south-eastern Queensland to increase brand awareness and gather market intelligence has resulted in a 114% increase in daily average Vonex website and a spike in converted sales. The company's major marketing push in October will target areas where the NBN is available but not connected yet, or construction is complete and the area is becoming available.

Newly listed telco Vonex, has formed a marketing and partnership agreement with Canadian global communications software solutions provider CounterPath to jointly market a combined telco product offering to existing and potential customers. Vonex will also sell selected Counterpath products under its own brand.

Vonex's new customer sales online technology will enable channel partners to manage their customers' telecommunications products efficiently online. This will include Vonex's much vaunted cloud-hosted PABX office telephony systems. The new technology will be known as “Sign On Glass” and will play a major role on the company's push into the channel partner market.

Vonex has started beta development of its Oper8tor communication aggregator application with a focus on system designs and platform architecture. Controlled testing is expected to start in October 2018 and the company is planning to soft-launch the app in Western Europe next year, to take advantage of its significant population and mobile phone usage.

Tech play Vonex has the big telco's in its sights as it seeks to pinch market share from them courtesy of the disruption caused to the market by the roll out of the NBN. The company listed on the ASX yesterday after completing a $6m IPO and will now seek to gain greater market penetration for its cloud based PABX and related services.
