AUKUS, Defence Industry and the UK’s role in the Indo-Pacific

Join United Kingdom Minister of State for Indo-Pacific, the Rt. Hon. Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, as she delivers a keynote address focusing on the role of the UK in the Indo-Pacific to the WA Business Community. Minister Trevelyan will join panellists Sir Nick Hine KCB, Greg Laxton and Professor Gordon Flake to discuss the UK’s approach to the Indo-Pacific, the role of the UK’s global defence industry and its readiness to play a key role in the AUKUS partnership with a particular focus on implications for Western Australia.

The panel will discuss the importance of close cooperation between government and industry, locally, nationally and internationally to unlock economic potential, enhance innovation, and respond to international security needs by maximising Australia’s strategic partnership with the United Kingdom.

Event Cancellation Policy

Unless specifically stated on the event invitation that the invitation is not transferable, you may send another attendee to take your place at the event if you are unable to attend. 

If you are unable to attend, and cannot find someone to take your place, cancellations for all bookings will be accepted up to 14 days prior to the event and a full refund will be issued provided that Business News has acknowledged notification of your cancellation.

If Business News does not receive notification 14 days prior to the event, there will be no refund for cancellations.
