As an associate director within KPMG’s management consulting practice, Elizabeth Shaw leads the firm’s approach to diversity and inclusion. She has balanced this role while serving as the president of UN Women Australia – the youngest person to hold the role and the first Western Australian. Ms Shaw is also the deputy chair of Inclusion WA, helping ensure people with disabilities are able to play active roles in their communities, and on the Steering Committee of the 30% Club, which is focused on increasing the number of female directors on ASX-200 boards. She has been recognised by AFR and Westpac as one of Australia’s 100 most influential women and won a Western Australian of the Year Youth Award from Celebrate WA. As a sought-after industry commentator on gender equality issues, Ms Shaw publishes regular opinion pieces for the AFR, The Australian, SMH and other leading publications.
