Hexagon is a Stockholm-headquartered global group of information technology companies.
Hexagon's primary businesses serve the manufacturing, engineering and geospatial sectors, but its main operations in Perth are through subsidiary Hexagon Mining.
Hexagon acquired Swiss company Leica Geosystems in 2005. It also made several Australian acquisitions including Brisbane-based Blast Movement Technologies in 2020; and three Perth-based companies including mining software firm MiPlan (2017), drilling technology company Minnovare (2022), and privately-owned construction technology company iConstruct (2022).
