Deep Yellow's captivating Barking Gecko discovery in Namibia continues to grow with recent drilling showing the hard-rock uranium ore system continues at depth. Drilling across the prospect area has returned a quiver of mineralised intercepts, including 14 metres at 404 parts per million uranium oxide which included 4m at 1,067 ppm uranium oxide from 81m metres down-hole.

Deep Yellow is continuing to extend the boundaries of its uranium find in Namibia as it charges towards the delivery of a feasibility study over the proposed mining centre at Tumas. Shallow drilling over the Tubas deposits, which are located 10km west of Tumas, has returned a wealth of uranium mineralisation including an intercept of 4m at 442 eppm uranium oxide from 4m.

Deep Yellow is launching back into uranium exploration at its Nova joint venture in Namibia with 13 reverse circulation holes planned across its 4km long Barking Gecko prospect. The drill program is designed to confirm bedrock mineralisation similar in nature to the nearby tier one Rossing mine.

Deep Yellow has completed drilling over its Tumas 3 uranium deposit in Namibia, ticking off yet another box as it charges toward the completion of its pre-feasibility study in south-west Africa. The company has completed 53 drill holes over the target which exceeding expectations returning results of up to 515 eppm uranium oxide.

Deep Yellow is reaping the benefits of its evolving development program in Namibia, with infill drilling yielding a continuing stream of solid intercepts including the highest ever recorded assay from Tumas 3, which tipped the scales at a screaming 5,820 eppm uranium oxide. The program will form part of the company's pre-feasibility study over the project which is scheduled to be delivered before the close of 2020.

Aspiring uranium developer, Deep Yellow, has mobilised its drilling fleet in Namibia to produce samples for ongoing test work. Deep Yellow's drills will complete 90 holes through the Tumas resource area to collect over a tonne of samples for metallurgical testing and technical analysis as part of its ongoing PFS program.

Deep Yellow has teamed up with engineering heavy-weight Ausenco to oversee the latter half of the company's Pre-Feasibility Study in Namibia. Ausenco will work closely with the company providing specialist process design, engineering, equipment lists and capital estimates as the company fast-tracks the development of its Tumas uranium deposits.

In a remarkable move, Deep Yellow has managed to convert nearly 100 per cent of one of its world-class uranium resources at the Tumas 3 deposit in Namibia from “inferred” to the higher confidence, “indicated” category, upgrading just over 24 million pounds of eU3O8 grading 313 parts per million. The uranium developer said that the global Tumas 3 mineral resource now stands at 36.8Mlb grading 328ppm eU3O8.

Uranium developer, Deep Yellow, is backing its view that the uranium price is on the move, with significant metallurgical test work at its Namibian uranium play showing positive results that should provide a boost to the project pre-feasibility study. Deep Yellow has deep pockets too, with around $13M in the bank as at the end of Q1.

With the world crying out for non-fossil fuels and the uranium supply and demand curves predicted to cross over soon, Deep Yellow is sitting on a veritable powerhouse of uranium assets in Namibia that are moving rapidly towards being production ready ahead of an expected uranium price hike. In recent drilling at the Tumas 3 deposit, 85% of drill holes returned a result greater than 100ppm eU3O8 over 1m.
