In the fast-paced world of marketing and operations, success often pivots on the ability to adapt, innovate, and collaborate. Nora Kean, a seasoned professional with roots in the bustling creative hub of New York City, exemplifies these principles in her leadership role at Perth's own PWD Digital Agency.
Reflecting on her journey within PWD, Nora shares, "It’s been a great journey since I started. In the States, I worked in big creative agencies in New York City for years before moving to Perth." Her five-year tenure at PWD has seen her rise from Head of Account Management to her current position as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the agency's operational vision.
Nora's trajectory underscores the importance of continuous growth and adaptability. “I learned a lot about customer service and different strategies from international campaigns. Now, I can integrate these into the service that we offer our clients here in Perth," she remarks, highlighting her astute ability to blend global expertise with a deep understanding of the local market.
Yet, amidst her accomplishments, Nora attributes much of her success to the people she works with along with Managing Director Oliver Wood. "Our employees are our best asset within the company. When they feel heard and seen, they do their best work," she affirms. Her emphasis on transparency, honesty, and inclusivity has fostered an environment where every voice is valued and respected.
PWD's commitment to fostering talent is palpable. Nora explains, "We encourage everyone to be a leader in their field and to feel pride in what they do. We provide training and support initiatives for professional growth." Moreover, PWD's dedication to supporting female employees through policies like maternity leave and flexible working hours underscores its commitment to inclusivity and progress.
As Nora reflects on her time at PWD, she speaks with pride about the agency's exceptional culture and talent pool. "PWD is one of the best places that I have worked. It's an amazing culture and group, and it’s an exciting time for our staff and clients," she states. With a diverse and dynamic team, PWD stands as a testament to the transformative power of collaboration and talent cultivation.
