MPC Kinetic

MPC Kinetic is a Queensland-focused oil and gas services business jointly owned by Perth-based private equity group Viburnum and Houston-based SCF Partners. It was formed in 2018 through a merger of MPC Group and Perth-based Kinetic. MPC Group traded as Murphy Pipe and Civil until 2017, when it was acquired by Viburnum and SCF. Kinetic was established in 2017 through the integration and rebranding of Vause, Grizzly, Wildcat and Surtron Technologies, which were also owned by Viburnum and SCF. The company principally works in pipeline construction for the energy, water, and mining sectors.
