Engineering firm Monadelphous Group has announced new contracts in Australia and Papua New Guinea with a combined value of $140 million.
In Western Australia, Monadelphous said it would perform structural, mechanical and piping works for Rio Tinto Iron ore at the Cape Lambert port near Port Hedland.
Monadelphous said it also secured two contracts for water utility Unitywater at its Cooroy and Woodford sewage treatment plant projects in Queensland.
Finally, Monadelphous said it would provide pipeline remediation works of Ok Tedi Mining in Tabubil, Western Province, PNG.
The company said the awards took its total value of new work secured in financial year 2012 to $870 million.
“These contract wins continue to underpin strong revenue momentum and reflect the growing diversification of our quality customer based,” managing director Rob Velletri said.
At 8:53AM WST Monadelphous shares were down slightly, trading at $18.96.
