Seven West Media, through its subsidiaries, engaged in free to air television, newspaper and magazine publishing, online, and radio broadcasting in Australia. The company operates free-to-air commercial television stations; and publishes The West Australian newspaper and insert magazines, and The Countryman and other newspapers published in regional areas of Western Australia.
The company was formerly known as West Australian Newspapers Holdings Limited and changed its name to Seven West Media Limited in April 2011 as a result of the acquisition of Seven West Media Limited.
SWM was acquired by Southern Cross Media in 2026.
