Board Moves June 16, 2023

Lewis Lowe and Matthew Foy have retired as joint company secretaries of Arafura Rare Earths following the return of Catherine Huynh from maternity leave.

Neil Gregson and Samaila Zubairu have resigned as non-executive directors of Danakali following the successful sale of its Colluli project. They have been with the board since 2020 and had played central roles in the sale.

Richard Barker has resigned as non-executive director of Global Oil & Gas, after 3 years of service on the board.

Summit Minerals has appointed Bishoy Habib as non-executive director. Mr Habib has been involved with the company for the last 10 months as a business development consultant, and has developed excellent relationships with its shareholders and is very familiar with its projects and overall strategy. With the increase in exploration activities in Australia and Morocco, current managing director Jonathan King will be transitioning to the role of an exploration manager, and chair Peretz Schapiro will take on a more active role with specific focus on strategy and corporate development.

Advanced vanadium developer Technology Metals Australia has appointed Jo Gaines as non-executive director. Ms Gaines is an experienced leader and strategic policy director with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement. She was the deputy chief of staff to the Premier of Western Australia, and a leader in the development of the WA Recovery Plan following the COVID-19 pandemic.
