Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) is one of Australia’s largest and busiest hospitals. It has the second biggest trauma workload in the country and one of the busiest emergency departments in Australasia. As an 450-bed premier teaching hospital, it provides services to adults in all clinical fields (except obstetrics). The hospital spreads across two campuses: Wellington Street Campus (centrally located in Perth city); Shenton Park Campus (situated in the western suburbs, about six kilometres from the city). RPH is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service.
