Horizon Minerals has established a hefty gold-silver resource after completing a merger with Greenstone Resources, covering the new entity's entire holdings in Western Australia's Goldfields region. The company says it now boasts a resource inventory of 1.8 million ounces of gold and 20 million ounces of silver and is now poised to generate accelerated cash flow from multiple gold deposits near Kalgoorlie.

After some unforeseen hiccups, Conico is now charging towards completion of a scoping study, which it says will now include new project optimisations aimed at enhancing economics at its Mt Thirsty project. While high workflow levels for key consultants slowed the study process, it expects it to be finished next month, with an updated mineral resource also on the way.

Conico Limited has revealed more shallow high-grade nickel-cobalt-manganese-scandium results from its Mt Thirsty JV near Norseman. Results include 29m grading 0.09 per cent cobalt, 0.62 per cent nickel, 0.73 per cent manganese and 33.2g/t scandium from surface. The resource is 66.2 million tonnes grading 0.06 per cent cobalt, 0.43 per cent nickel and 0.45 per cent manganese, with the project's scoping study due in July.

Assay results received by Greenland-focused Conico Limited from its 100 per cent owned Mestersvig project have confirmed the quartz veins in the Blyklippen-Sortebjerg, Holberg, and Nuldal faults all host high-grade lead, zinc and silver mineralisation. Conico has logged zinc, lead and copper sulphides from a 10-hole diamond drill campaign at its Mestersvig project in Greenland consistent with the historic Blyklippen zinc-lead mine at the site. Eight of the 10 holes completed intercepted disseminated, heavily disseminated or matrix sulphides during the program that was testing for extensions to the known mineralised vein system identified at the Blyklippen and Sortebjerg prospects about 13km along strike from one another.

Conico has intersected high-grade gold in the third diamond drillhole at its Sortekap prospect in Greenland. Some of the best results include 1m at 42.81 g/t gold from only 41m downhole and 1m grading 2.58 g/t gold from 22m. Five more 1m intervals going at greater than 1 g/t were also discovered. Mineralisation is present as gold-bearing quartz veins in the Archean amphibolite that is interpreted as orogenic style.

Downhole intervals of 45 metres, 32m and 27.8m of copper sulphide mineralisation have been encountered. Matrix sulphide mineralisation was intersected over 2.9 metres from 96.8 metres in one drill hole and trace sulphides were encountered from 278 to 280 metres downhole in another.
