AMEC appointed to Mt Thirsty PFS

AMEC Foster Wheeler Australia has been appointed as study engineer for a pre-feasibility study at Barra Resources and Conico’s Mt Thirsty joint venture project near Norseman.

AMEC is owned by global engineering company Wood.

The JV project, which is prospective for cobalt, nickel and oxide, has also appointed Snowden Mining Industry Consultants to consult the mining aspects of the study.

Golder Associates will consult on technical functions, including mineral resources, hydrogeology and tailings management, while Talis Consultants will complete environmental aspects of the study.
