The Australian Institute of Urban Studies is presenting its final Forum of 2012 entitled Today's Kids, Tomorrow's Adults. Many of our major infrastructure projects will take 10+ years to complete by which time today’s kids will be tomorrow’s adults. Do we consider the views of young people in today’s planning decisions? How can we get them involved in today’s conversations?

Rikki Ishmal (Dept of Communities); Craig Comrie (Youth Affairs Council of WA): Caron Irwin (Office of the Commissioner for Children and Young People); Nikki Wilson – Smith (Nature Play) and Tim Trefry (Roberts Day Town Planning) will all provide different perspectives of the needs of younger people in today’s urban landscape.

The Forum will be held at the Melbourne Hotel, Hay Street at 5.00 for a 6.00pm start. For further details, contact Kenny Annand on 0410 883 955 or e-mail a.frankcombe@hamessharley.com.au if you would like to attend.
