In recent times, we have been faced with an increase in the number and magnitude of emergencies, natural disasters and interruption to business continuity, terrorist attacks and other unprecedented crisis events in a global environment with a constantly changing threat profile.

Hosted by IFAP and supported by REM, this inaugural Emergency Management - Resilience Conference will be held on 24 November 2016 at Pan Pacific Hotel Perth.

The Resilience Conference will focus on the current topics of today and the unprecedented increase in potential risk and exposure to major emergency events with themes around preparedness, response and recovery for organisations in an unstable global environment.

This is a unique opportunity to examine crisis and emergency management from different viewpoints from those affected including customers, the media, public, employees, shareholders – and to learn cross-industry lessons and how to apply the lessons learned in practical terms.

Our world class line-up of local, national and international speakers will share their personal experiences, present case studies from recent events, discuss the latest research and trends on the risks that businesses face, the impact that social media and the real-time news cycle have on crisis and emergency management, leadership in crisis and what you can learn from recent world events and how to apply these learning’s into your organisation’s emergency management capability.
