Leeuwin Australian Concert 2016 – John Butler Trio & The Waifs

In what promises to be a spectacular night of alfresco music in the leadup to Australia Day, two of Australia’s most iconic live bands - the John Butler Trio and the Waifs - will perform against the majestic Leeuwin Estate backdrop.

Held as part of the winery’s Australia Day Celebrations, The Leeuwin Australian Concert is an all-ages celebration of Australian musical talent. In previous years the Estate has hosted talent including Bernard Fanning, Pete Murray, Kasey Chambers, and The Whitlams.

The John Butler Trio has been touring its energetic roots/ rock music extensively in 2015, playing iconic festivals and concerts around the world to ever larger audiences, whilst The Waifs have just released their 7th studio album ‘Beautiful You’ to critical acclaim and received rapturous reviews on their recent tour. With their combined talent, the musicians will create an unforgettable night for all ages
