ALPMA WA Seminar: Innovation and New Product Development for Law Firms
At a time of unprecedented change and disruption in the legal industry, adaptability is vital. Ideas are great but they’re nothing unless realized. So, how should you go about testing and implementing a new idea and what are the pitfalls to be aware of?
Our keynote speaker is one of only very few people to have successfully established an innovative and profitable new business within a law firm. Katherine Thomas founded one of UK’s most successful flexible resourcing businesses – Vario – whilst she was with what is now international law firm Pinsent Masons. As a result of this experience and subsequent consulting with law firms internationally, she understands firsthand the challenges of new product and service development and will share her key learnings about the process through a practical case study that will be of value to law firms of all sizes.
Katherine will be joined by well-known law firm strategy expert Sue-Ella Prodonovich who will apply Katherine’s learnings in a local context. We are delighted that Sue-Ella is able to join us from Sydney. She will provide a valuable insight on the status of innovation in Australian law firms.
