Accomplishments

Troy Pickard was elected mayor of the City of Joondalup in May 2006 and, not surprisingly, it’s a role that has provided him with his greatest professional challenge.

Mr Pickard’s most significant business achievement was his role as area sales manager for Metso Minerals (Asia Pacific) in 2001, and responsibility for the successful reconfiguration of the distribution network in the region.

In 2002 he became a fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute for his contribution to the marketing profession.
