Accomplishments
Lisa Hutchinson thinks her most significant business achievement was to establish a private physiotherapy practice with her partner at the age of 23. She says that, despite limited business background, as well as limited professional and life experience, they were able to develop a good client base in a competitive environment, in a relatively short period of time.
Advance is the largest wholly owned physiotherapy business in Australia, operating 12 clinics in WA and one in NSW.

Personal/community
Ms Hutchinson has a bachelor degree in applied sciences with first class honours and also completed a post-graduate qualification in sports physiotherapy.
She is a sponsor for the WA Ausdance awards and speaks regularly at various organisations and schools on health, exercise and back care.
With her eldest daughter suffering from the Williams syndrome, Ms Hutchinson has become an expert in this disorder and is called upon by the genetic clinic at PMH for assistance when new cases of the syndrome are diagnosed. She hopes to formalise this role next year and establish a support group.
