Accomplishments
Simon Forth says that driving the growth strategy to take Legend Corporation Ltd from a private company to an ASX-listed entity has been his greatest business achievement.
In early 2000, Mr Forth developed a two-phase strategy to overcome restrictions in working capital by transitioning Legend into a public company, and later by driving organisational growth. The company underwent a second capital raising in 2005 to source an injection of additional funds to further expand growth into Asia.
Legend operates in the electrical, IT and semiconductor industries and has manufacturing facilities in Australia and Singapore, four international subsidiaries and 12 sales offices in seven countries.
