Congratulations to Eastern Guruma on celebrating its 20-year anniversary! Held at Frasers, Kings Park on 19 April 2024 it was the perfect venue for such a milestone occasion. Staff and VIP guests honoured the Co-owners’ and Directors, Tania Stevens and Samantha Connors. All were incredibly proud of the journey and achievements over the past two decades. It's a testament to Eastern Guruma’s vision, dedication and hard work. Here's to many more years of success and growth for Eastern Guruma!

Background
Eastern Guruma is 100% owned by members of the traditional owner group Muntulgura Guruma, with the core values of the business ensuring it provides employment, career and business opportunities for Aboriginal people.
Since its establishment in 2004, Eastern Guruma has employed many Aboriginal people in a range of different roles within the business. These roles have included entry level positions and traineeships, experienced operator, supervisor and manager roles, as well as trades and other service positions.

Services and Works
Eastern Guruma delivers projects in the Western Australian resources industry that include the following: road construction and maintenance, bulk & detailed earthworks, concrete, construction of tailings dams, drainage & protection, traffic management, exploration, rehabilitation, landscaping, drilling, telecommunications, facilities management services.
Eastern Guruma proudly partners with Aboriginal groups to work on specific mining and civil projects. Such partnerships have created opportunities for Aboriginal people including traineeships and ongoing career development.
