Vandita Pant has extensive global financial market and business development experience.

As group treasurer and head of Europe at BHP, she has played a critical role in the execution of the company's capital allocation framework, strengthened its balance sheet, and led the successful capital management program to return to shareholders the US$10.4 billion of net proceeds from the sale of its US Onshore assets. She was appointed BHP's chief commercial officer in March 2019. Prior to BHP, Ms Pant held roles within ABN Amro and Royal Bank of Scotland.

She has lived and worked in Singapore, India and Japan.
