Tim Martino

Tim Martino is a director in taxation services at Pitcher Partners in Perth. He assists clients across a range of industries in effectively managing their tax affairs. Mr Martino specialises in the Australian indirect taxes including goods and services tax (GST), land tax, landholder duty and transfer duty (stamp duty). He worked within, and managed, specialist indirect tax teams with the Big 4 accounting firms. Mr Martino is well placed to assist with the complexities of indirect taxes whether in the context of set-up, day-to-day operations, key transactions and tax authority disputes, including in the areas of property, financial supplies, cross-border transactions and import/export. He regularly presents to technical professionals (legal and accounting) on Australian indirect taxes and has been invited to present at legal conference, state convention and Tax Institute audiences on these subjects, and has invitations to teach at some of the state’s most prestigious educational institutions. Mr Martino’s past experience encompasses broader commercial management roles, both inside and outside the profession, including as commercial manager of an ASX-listed company with international operations.
