Terry Smart was a founding director of JB HiFi, ten years as chief operating officer, 4 years as chief executive before re-joining the company as group chief executive and executive director in August 2021. He led the implementation of its management information system including a point-of-sale system, in-store reporting systems and an electronic data interface with its major suppliers.
Mr Smart was also managing director of The Good Guys, and led the repositioning & significant improvement in performance of the business.
