Stefan Sudweeks

Stefan Sudweeks has been a commercial litigator for more than 26 years and specialises in professional risks, D&O, errors and omissions, and property insurance issues. He is recognised internationally as a “Leader in his Field” by Chambers and Partners, as a “pre-eminent leading PI lawyer” in Doyle's Guide, recommended in Legal 500 for four years, and included in Best Lawyers in Australia for 2016. Mr Sudweeks has extensive experience as a commercial litigator and acts for a wide range of professions including barristers, solicitors, members of the finance industry, engineers, estate agents, surveyors, valuers and accountants. He has also been involved in a number of subrogated property recovery claims. Mr Sudweeks presented seminars on insurance and related issues and publishes papers on legal developments. He has also held positions on industry-based groups such as AILA and the committee advising the Solicitor General on harmonising legislation on proportionate liability.
