Peter Lester is a mining engineer with over 40 years of experience in the mining industry where he held various roles including construction, project and mine management, corporate and financial advisory services, and in business development roles with responsibility for strategic planning and corporate development.
After 11 years at Mt Isa, Mr Lester held operating positions at Phosphate Hill and was construction manager for ore handling upgrades at Broken Hill. A period of stockbroking followed before he moved to senior executive positions with North Ltd, Newcrest Mining, Oxiana/OZ Minerals and with Citadel Resources Group as an executive director.
