Superior buoyed by molybdenum hits at Queensland project

Superior Resources has confirmed the discovery of significant molybdenum mineralisation at its Bottletree prospect that forms part of the company's Greenvale copper project near Townsville in Queensland. Recently received assay results from a drill campaign completed in December show impressive figures with a 6m intercept at 1.39 per cent molybdenum from 470m including a 1m section at an outstanding 5.2 per cent molybdenum from 474m.

Superior spots 900m of visual copper in Qld campaign

Superior Resources has spotted visual copper mineralisation across the majority of a recently sunk 933m-plus diamond drill hole at its Bottletree copper prospect, part of its larger Greenvale project near Townsville in Queensland. The company believes it has its foot on a large-scale copper porphyry system at the project and is using the campaign to target the interpreted core.

A large, multi-element geochem survey for Queensland focussed Superior Resources has delivered results from its wholly-owned Bottletree copper prospect. Multiple, strong targets for a planned aggressive drilling program into the cores of at least three porphyry intrusions have been identified as well as several large zones of copper mineralisation that will feel the pressure of the drill bit.

Superior boosts Qld gold resource

Junior explorer, Superior Resources has boosted its Steam Engine gold resource to 196,000 ounces representing an increase of over 60 per cent compared to previous calculations incorporating a lower grade owner-operated processing model. The latest resource estimate takes in an additional 85 reverse circulation drill holes completed during the company's 2021 drilling blitz at its Greenvale project in northern Queensland.

Superior taps into large Qld copper porphyry system

Superior Resources appears to have tapped into the outer edges of a large, buried porphyry system at the company's Bottletree copper prospect in Queensland. Assay results from the first of three diamond drill holes targeting an induced polarisation anomaly have returned a massive 552.5 metre intersection at 0.16 per cent copper with peak grades of 4m returning 1.32 per cent copper.

Gold prospects brighten for Superior in Queensland

Superior Resources has chipped significant gold from historic prospective outcrops at Windmill East and Origin, 210 kilometres west of Townsville in central Queensland with grades as high as 65.92 grams per tonne gold. The company says the results from its first entry into the old Pancontinental prospects are a sign it could be on to a mineralised system significantly larger than previously thought.

Superior beefs up QLD gold resource

Superior Resources has wrangled a stampede of significant gold intercepts from 15 RC drill holes returned from the latest round of assays at its Steam Engine prospect in Queensland. Stellar assay results received include a 21m wide hit grading at 2.2 grams per tonne gold from 160m downhole and an 8m intercept that came in at 2.8g/t gold from 154m downhole.

Superior strikes gold with first drill hole near Townsville

Superior Resources has delivered a 10m gold intercept going 2.8 g/t gold from the first hole at the Steam Engine lode, located at its Greenvale project 210km west of Townsville in Queensland.
