Maxine Brenner

Maxine Brenner is a director of Origin Energy, Orica and Growthpoint Properties Australia. She is also a Member of the Council of the University of New South Wales. Ms Brenner was formerly managing director of Investment Banking at Investec Bank (Australia). She has extensive experience in corporate advisory work particularly in relation to mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures and general corporate activity. She also practised as a lawyer with Freehill Hollingdale & Page (now Herbert Smith) where she specialised in corporate work, and spent several years as a lecturer in the Faculty of Law at both University of NSW and the University of Sydney. Ms Brenner was deputy chair of Federal Airports Corporation and director of Neverfail Springwater, Bulmer Australia and Treasury Corporation of NSW. She also served as a Member of the Australian Government's Takeovers Panel.
