Republic of Fremantle has called in administrators to restructure the urban distillery and bar business, after grappling with pandemic-induced delays and industry challenges.
Republic of Fremantle Distilling Co has plans to triple the capacity of its bar and export its spirits to overseas markets using money it hopes to raise from a crowdfunding campaign.
Fremantle will be home to two new watering holes, as distillery Republic of Fremantle and brewery and distillery Running with Thieves open their doors today.
