Helen McAllister

Helen McAllister leads St John of God Subiaco Hospital’s midwifery (maternity) services that deliver about 3,500 babies each year as well as gynaecology, newborn and paediatric services. Prior to her current appointment in October 2014, she was deputy director of nursing, midwifery and surgical services at St John of God Murdoch Hospital. Ms McAllister has extensive experience in senior nursing and midwifery leadership roles and is a registered nurse, midwife, and a child & family health nurse. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Management) and Graduate Certificates in Business Administration and Leadership & Catholic Culture.
