Bart Boelen

Prior to starting B² Consulting, Bart Boelen was WA Manager for the Clifton Coney Group, director of commercial operations at the Department of Culture & The Arts, and manager of the major projects branch at the Department of Housing and Works. B² Consulting has been engaged by State Government and private sector clients for 12 years on a range of assignments. Specialising in large or complex construction and procurement projects, Mr Boelen spent over 15 years at the Western Australian Tourism Commission and was senior policy adviser to the Minister for Tourism. His experience includes being project director for the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, procurement director for the Perth Arena, and state contract manager for the “one40william”© project. Mr Boelen was director of Midwest Ports and Food Rescue. Trained as a Group Worker/Counsellor at the Institute of Human Development, he is a Certified Practicing Portfolio Executive [CPPE], has a postgraduate qualification in Strategic Procurement and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Boelen is also a Justice of the Peace in Western Australia, deputy chair of Gumala Enterprises and non-executive director at PlusLife.
