Anthony Prime

Anthony Prime graduated in law with honours from the University of Western Australia and began practising law in 1991. He joined MDS Legal’s predecessor, McCallum Donovan Sweeney in 1997, having previously been employed as the senior construction law solicitor at a large commercial firm. Mr Prime has over 25 years of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, specialising in the area of building and construction. His experience in the area of building and construction includes all aspects of dispute resolution, litigation, mediation, arbitration and rapid adjudication under the Construction Contracts Act. Mr Prime also has significant experience in drafting, negotiating and advising clients on building and construction contracts and related documents. He has presented numerous seminars to the construction, engineering and mining industry on issues relating to partnering and contract management. In addition to his building and construction practice, Mr Prime also maintains a diverse commercial dispute resolution practice which includes advising and acting for small business owners, individuals, companies and associations in relation to a variety of matters including contract and commercial disputes, franchising disputes and claims under the Family Provision Act.
