Strickland Metals has been named the manager of the Iroquois zinc-lead project in Western Australia's Earaheedy Basin after the company completed a formal joint venture agreement with Gibb River Diamonds. The new joint venture supersedes an historical option agreement from 2012. Strickland says a native title heritage survey will be requested for next month. The company is planning a 5000m drilling program with a further 5000m in the works, subject to positive results.

Strickland Metals has been given the green light to explore the main structure of its Millrose gold project near Wiluna after receiving heritage clearance from the Tarika Matuwa Piarku Aboriginal Corporation in addition to program of work approval from the West Australian Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety. The company can now focus on several high-priority areas along strike of the main 13km structure.

Latest assay results from RC drilling at Strickland Metals' Millrose project near Wiluna in WA have identified multiple new gold zones in addition to high-grade oxide gold intercepts. Highlights show one 5m intercept going 11.5 grams per tonne gold from 68m whilst a second 65m section from the same hole recorded 4.4 g/t from 95m including 3m at 20.2 g/t and another 3m reading an impressive 33.5 g/t gold.

Strickland Metals has received higher-than-expected assay results from recent diamond drilling at its Millrose gold project about 85km north-east of Wiluna in WA that suggest it is part of a very large gold system. Mineralisation at Millrose North is now defined over 300m whilst remaining open at depth and along strike.

As its mammoth 23,000m RC and diamond program continues, ASX-listed gold junior Strickland Metals has confirmed surface laterite gold mineralisation directly above a northern section of its Millrose mineral resource at the company's broader Yandal gold project in WA. Among a broad array of holes probing the shallow mineralisation, standout intercepts include 5m at 3.6 g/t gold and 4m at 3 g/t.

Drilling at Strickland Metals' Iroquois discovery has returned high-grade zinc-lead results of 8m at 5.2 per cent zinc and 5m grading 10.1 per cent zinc-lead. The highest grade was contained in a broad zone giving 18m at 4.2 per cent combined zinc-lead. The company notes the discovery lies along strike from Rumble Resources' Earaheedy project.

Strickland Metals' second-string Iroquois project in the northern goldfields is continuing to jostle attention away from its better addressed Yandal greenstone belt Strickland stablemates, the Horse Well and Millrose projects. Iroquois has been throwing up some impressive zinc hits to back up last year's initial discovery and it appears that Strickland now has yet another serious project on its books.

Strickland Metals has two RC drill rigs and one diamond core rig fired up at its Yandal project in WA. Both are expected to be on site for the duration of 2022 in a big push to add to the 603,000 ounce resource. The company believes there is significant potential to rapidly add to the existing gold resources at the project as it looks to emulate its neighbour, Northern Star's Jundee operations.

ASX-listed Strickland Metals has obtained heritage clearance from Tarlka Matuwa Piarku Aboriginal Corporation for almost all of its planned exploration throughout 2022. Obtaining heritage clearance was the final critical step towards commencing exploration at Yandal and for the planned resource extensional drilling at Millrose. A drill rig is ready to start this week.

ASX-listed explorer Strickland Metals has intersected a flurry of gold hits at its Dusk til Dawn prospect in WA that extends mineralisation down-dip following a series of successful strikes at the same prospect late last year. A remodelling of the current 108,900 gold ounce resource is now underway at the prospect where the company believes it will add substantial gold ounces to the resource base.

Aircore drilling by mineral exploration company, Strickland Metals has unearthed a hefty 1.3km long gold trend lying along strike to its multi-deposit Horse Well resource in Western Australia where about 129,000 ounces of contained gold have been defined. Stand out hits from the drilling include 8m at 3.3 grams per tonne gold from 40m that also takes in a higher grade 4m interval going 6.3 g/t gold.

Strickland Metals has nailed its first pass drilling campaign at its Dusk til Dawn prospect in WA with a stellar first up result of 33m going 3.6 g/t gold. Strickland believes the maiden drill results confirm its new mineralisation modelling that could potentially boost the 109,000 ounce gold resource discovered by previous owners. It says up to 20 lookalike targets have now also been identified nearby.

Strickland Metals saw its share price surge by more than 60 per cent in intraday trading following discovery of broad, shallow and high-grade zinc and lead mineralisation in the Earaheedy Basin, directly along strike to Rumble Resources' celebrated Chinook zinc and lead discovery. The first two drill holes of an initial five-hole campaign at Strickland's Iroquois prospect returned thick mineralised hits, including 23m at 5.5 per cent zinc and lead.

Junior explorer Strickland Metals says its recently acquired 346,000-ounce Millrose gold project on the north-eastern flank of the prolific gold-bearing Yandal-Millrose greenstone belt in WA provides an outstanding drill-ready opportunity to potentially grow its gold resource base in pursuit of possible early production in the region. Strickland Metals has sewn up the acquisition of strategic ground-holdings abutting its flagship Horse Well gold project in WA that increases its footprint in the Yandal greenstone belt in the north-eastern Goldfields. The company completed the deal to purchase a 75 per cent stake in the Yandal East gold project tenements from Renegade Exploration for a consideration of 40 million new Strickland shares and $800,000 cash.

In just three short months Strickland Metals has established a dominant land position in one of the world's premier gold belts.
