Westfield opens stage two

Westfield Carousel recently opened stage two of its $200 million redevelopment almost five months ahead of schedule.

Stage two features a new 4000 sqm Coles supermarket and 48 new and revamped speciality stores.

Customer access to parking facilities continue to be improved, with a choice of either the ground level or a new rooftop parking area..

Westfield director, Michael Gutman, said the current redevelopments would reposition Westfield Carousel as the most convenient and comprehensive destination in Perth’s southern region.

“The redevelopment of Carousel will increase our ability to provide Perth’s biggest choice in shopping and entertainment facilities for people of all ages”, Mr Gutman said.

Once completed in December, Corousel’s gross lettable area will have grown from 47,600 sqm to about 76,000 sqm putting it ahead of Morley, Galleria which is currently Perth’s largest shopping centre.
