TELSTRA Country Wide has appointed Noel Bridge and John Hogan to its Advisory Board.
Advisory Board chairman Donald McGauchie said Mr Bridge and Mr Hogan had the expertise and knowledge that would help Telstra Country Wide provide better services and build stronger and more responsive businesses in regional and rural Australia.
The board provides recommendations and advice to group managing director Doug Campbell on the new regional and rural unit’s strategies and operations.
“I welcome Mr Bridge’s expertise in working with the mining industry and indigenous communities and Mr Hogan’s experience in northern Australia in key industries such as primary production, media and tourism,” Mr Campbell said.
Mr Bridge is a Perth-based consultant advising on mining, native title and community and business development.
He was a senior manager with Normandy Mining until late last year as well as a member of the Mineral Council of Australia – Land Access Committee and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Hogan was a former News Limited senior executive responsible for its newspaper publishing businesses in the Northern Territory and Townsville.
Other member of the Telstra Country Wide board are Telstra directors Mr McGauchie and Celie Moar as well as Jano Foulkes-Taylor, Ric Mollison, Jenny Russell and Roderic O’Conner.
