Suiting yourself

AT a time when the corporate world is shedding its stuffy clothing restrictions and dressing down, it may seem odd for the launch of a new Perth business which only sells top-of-the-range suits.

Established by Manjimup mens-wear retailer Steve Demiris and his business partner, former air hostess and wool classer Sally Penwill, Suit Yourself is targeting the professional clothing market with their mobile all-hours suit fitting service.

“We do the fittings wherever they want. We can go to the home for the bloke who needs his wife’s opinion,” Mr Demiris said.

Mr Demiris said the pair are marketing their service using the Business News’ Book of Lists to target the top end of town with a mailout and hoped to build up 200-300 clients, typically exec-utives who are either too busy to go shopping or simply don’t fit off-the-rack clothing.
