AUSTRALIA Post has presented a Certificate of Achievement and leather business folder to the first participants to complete the Customer Marketing Program.
More than 300 West Australians enrolled in the program which is an Australia Post innovation aimed at aiding small and medium sized businesses to build better relationships with their customer base and to take full advantage of the one-to-one communications that mail offers.
The presentations were made at the Sundowner, which featured displays by industry stakeholders and direct mail solution providers like the Australian Direct Marketing Association, Database Marketing specialists and Mailhouses.
“An increasing number of firms realise the potential for the use of direct mail, particularly in relation to other growth areas such as catalogues, Internet sites, kiosks, home-shopping channels and telephone and direct delivery services,” WA Post general manager Geoff Cook said.
The Customer Marketing Program, now being marketed nationally, is endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Australian Marketing Institute.
The next series of work groups will be held on October 9.
