Local agency secures online retailer’s offline business account

PERTH advertising agency MJB&B is clawing back a share of the east coast advertising business, having picked up the offline business for online retailer GreenGrocer.com.

Based in Sydney, GreenGrocer is an online shopping service that home delivers fresh produce and grocery items for its cash rich-time poor clientele. The first campaign, due out this week, has been developed to attract new users in Sydney and Melbourne to the shopping service with a focus on the security and simplicity of the site.

“This win demonstrates MJB&B’s strength in retail marketing, coupled with the experience and knowledge of online marketing via Livewire Online’s expertise in this rapidly expanding arena,” MJB&B managing director Brian Bowley said.

Livewire Online director of online strategy and planning, Simon te Brinke, said MJB&B’s extensive retail advertising experience and its relationship with Trivett, part owner of GreenGrocer with Woolworths, helped secure the account.

“Given our retail experience, we were asked to put together a campaign to stimulate trial pur-chases,” Mr te Brinke said.

Although neither MJB&B nor GreenGrocer was willing to disclose the value of the account, Mr te Brinke said it was a significant new account for the agency.
