Impressive survey for ABC

THE second radio ratings survey for 2002 hasn’t brought any joy for 96FM or the breakfast show with Gary Shannon and Jane Marwick, which has slipped 1.1 per cent, leaving it behind Eoin Cameron on ABC 720 in this all-important time slot.

According to the latest figures, 96FM is sitting on 11.8 per cent in the time slot, a long way behind Mix 94.5, which continues to dominate the radio market.

ABC 720 has had a bumper second survey, picking up a big 3.2 per cent of the market share for the morning show with Liam Bartlett. Overall, ABC 720 has lifted an impressive 2.5 per cent, the biggest gain in the market.
