Iluka appoints McMahon as CFO

Iluka Resources Ltd today has appointed current Wesfarmers Energy Ltd chief financial officer David McMahon as its own chief financial officer with his appointment effective 29 January 2007.

He replaces David Grant, who announced his resignation in October.

Mr McMahon has been employed by Wesfarmers since 1995, initially holding the roles of Senior Manager, Business Projects within the Business Development Department and General Manager, Commercial at Wesfarmers Energy. David was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Wesfarmers Energy in 2001, reporting directly to David Robb.

Prior to joining Wesfarmers, David held senior corporate development and finance roles at Normandy Mining and Standard Chartered Australia.

Mr McMahon also worked with Parkhill Lithgow & Gibson, Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia.
