LISA McKennay is busy planning a four-night holiday to one of the top destinations in the world after winning the Business News media competition.
Open to all businesses booking media space in Business News, participants were offered three tickets in a draw for a trip to Singapore for every $1,000 worth of media booked in Business News.
Ms McKennay, an account executive at advertising agency TMP Worldwide, said she won the prize booking an ad for recruitment company Morgan and Banks, who will be rebranding to TMP Worldwide in March.
“Our main business is recruit-ment bookings, jobs in the net section and Morgan and Banks regularly go in as branding ads in Business News,” Ms McKennay said.
Singapore is currently being promoted at “The Place to Live it Up”, with a focus on the city as a youthful, vibrant centre.
“I’m very excited, I’ll prob-ably take my partner,” Ms McKennay said.
She will be able to dine in some of the best restaurants in the world and afterwards go nightclubbing at clubs including Zonk which was voted the best nightclub in the world by the Ministry of Sound, Singapore Tourism Board marketing officer Deanne Squance said.
If the nightlife gets too exhausting, Singapore is also promoted as a gateway into South-East Asia.
“Singapore is also the gateway city, she could take a ferry to Bintan Island, part of Indonesia or go across the causeway into Malaysia,” Ms Squance said.
