Brits think Australians clever

AUSTRALIAN companies have much to offer Britain in terms of expertise and innovation said the United Kingdom Minister for Consumers and Corporate Affairs during a whirlwind tour to Perth.

Dr Kim Howells said experience had shown that Australia was one of the finest countries to do business with.

“We are enormously appreciative of the innovation that Australian companies have brought,” Dr Howells told members of the Australian Businesses in Europe and the Australian British Chamber of Commerce.

He said Britain had a lot to learn from Australia because Australia was still a young, vibrant country.
