Board Moves October 12, 2023

Beach Energy has advised that Glenn Davis will be retiring from the board at the upcoming AGM on 14 November. Mr Davis has been a non-executive director since 2007, and as chair since 2012. The company has identified a candidate to replace Mr Davis, and is working through timing issues to identify a commencement date. In the meantime, Ryan Stokes AO will become interim chair.

Capricorn Metals has appointed experienced geologist Jill Irvin as non-executive director. Ms Irvin has over 25 years of experience in the Australian mining industry, and has worked for several Australian gold and base metals companies in a variety of roles including resource estimation, near mine exploration and mining geology.

QGold, controlling shareholder of gold and base metals explorer Carawine Resources, has replaced its nominee director on the Carawine board. Paul Whimp will take over from Hayden Leary, who has been non-executive chair since May 2022. Mr Whimp has extensive national and international accounting, business, banking and finance experience; and has held management and director roles within the mining, property, superannuation administration and financial advisory sectors.

Singular Health has formally appointed Denning Chong as managing director and chief executive. Mr Chong, a co-founder and previous non-executive director, became interim CEO and MD in April 2023.

Wide Open Agriculture has appointed Harry Miller as company secretary, replacing Matthew Skinner who had held the role in the interim and will remain a chief financial officer. Mr Miller has extensive company secretarial experience and acts as a company secretary for several ASX-listed companies across a diverse range of industries.
