Michele Anderson has resigned as non-executive director of Digital Wine Ventures due to increasing commitments on other ventures, particularly in the US.
Emyria has appointed US-based experienced pharmaceutical expert Dr Karen Smith as executive director, to lead its US-based drug development and registration programs in cannabinoid and novel psychedelic medicines. Dr Smith has overseen more than 100 clinical trials and more than 20 regulatory approvals leading to product launches across diverse therapeutic areas including neuroscience, rare disease, oncology, cardiology, dermatology, oncology and anti-infectives. She has been chair of Emyria’s strategic advisory board since February this year.
G8 Education has appointed Debra Singh and Toni Thornton as non-executive directors, and current non-executive director David Foster will take over from Mark Johnson as chair. Ms Singh has extensive knowledge of leading cultural and operating transformations within large-scale distributed networks. Ms Thornton has extensive strategic and capital markets knowledge gained during a successful investment banking career, and as an accomplished developer & operator of early learning centres.
Prodigy Gold has appointed Gerard McMahon and Neale Edwards as non-executive directors. Mr McMahon specialises in company law, securities and banking law, and takeovers & mergers regulations. Mr Edwards has over 30 years of experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry, covering major geological regions throughout Australia, the Pacific Rim, northern Africa and Europe. Both are also non-executive directors of Tanami Gold. Matt Briggs, interim executive chair since September, will revert back to being the managing director.
