Board Moves November 17, 2021

Bellevue Gold has appointed highly experienced resources executives Darren Stralow and Bill Stirling as chief executive and general manager respectively. Both Mr Stralow and Mr Stirling are mining engineers with distinguished careers at Northern Star Resources among other leading mining and contracting groups. At Northern Star Resources, Mr Stralow was the chief development officer where he oversaw several operational expansions and recreated safety systems to drive industry-leading safety performance. Mr Stirling was responsible for significant operational expansion projects at Jundee, contract negotiations, capital projects, team development and systems implementation.

BNK Banking Corporation has appointed Allan Savins as interim chief executive of the group’s banking division from 17 December. He has been the general manager for banking & wholesale since joining the bank 3 years ago during its merger with Finsure.

Grant Hudson, general manager of corporate services at Globe Metals & Mining since January this year, will become chief executive. Mr Hudson is a resident of Malawi and the role involves spending a significant amount of time on the African continent and at the project site focused on project development, financing and stakeholder engagement. Current managing director and chief executive Alistair Stephens will remain in the role until 9 January 2022 before transitioning to a senior advisor to the board and executive management team. Mr Stephens has been with the company since 2013.

Kerry Stokes AC has stepped down as executive chair of Seven Group Holdings, as part of the company's board renewal process over the last couple of years. Terry Davis, non-executive director since 2010, will take over as chair.

Swift Media has appointed Charles Fear and Bradley Denison as non-executive directors from 19 November, with Katherine Ostin stepping down from the board to pursue non-executive director opportunities in Sydney. Mr Fear has extensive experience as a non-executive director and chair of several ASX-listed companies; and considerable experience in equity capital markets, debt markets, mergers and acquisitions, and advisory services within the resources and resources services industries. Mr Denison is also an experienced non-executive director and chief executive with a strong financial background; and extensive client relationships in the government, mining, aged care and commercial sectors.
