Board Moves March 28, 2023

DXN has appointed Andrew Metcalfe as company secretary, following the resignation of George Lazarou who has held the role since October 2017. Mr Metcalfe is an experienced Chartered Secretary and Governance Advisor with more than 25 years of experience across a broad industry base, and as a member of the board and senior management team of ASX-listed companies.

Galan Lithium has appointed South American-based lithium executive María Claudia Pohl Ibáñez as an independent non-executive director, with founding non-executive director Christopher Chalwell retiring from the role after 12 years on the board. Ms Pohl is an industrial civil industrial engineer with over 23 years of senior executive experience in the lithium production industry. She is the managing partner and general manager of a Chilean-based lithium process engineering consultancy. Her experience in South America will be beneficial for Galan’s journey to becoming a significant lithium producer in the region.

Nanoveu, which specialises in films and coatings for cutting-edge applications, has appointed Dr Michael Winlo as non-executive director. Dr Winlo has extensive experience in leading high-growth teams across the biotech, pharmaceutical and technology sectors. He had led deployments for health companies and government organisations across the US and UK.

Brett Crowley has replaced Erlyn Dawson as company secretary of New Zealand Coastal Seafoods. Mr Crowley is a practicing solicitor and an experienced chair, finance director and company secretary of ASX-listed companies. His appointment follows the company’s acquisition of Nine Ocean, a high-end seafood product wholesaler & exporter based in Cairns, and with the company’s operations becoming more concentrated on the east coast of Australia where Mr Crowley is based.

Resonance Health has appointed Aaron Brinkworth as non-executive director. Mr Brinkworth has extensive experience within large international pharmaceutical companies. He spent 22 years with a US-headquartered and NASDAQ-listed pharmaceutical company where he held several commercial, licensing and patient access roles, and was involved in developing & implementing comprehensive commercial & access strategies for emerging markets.
