Board Moves March 20, 2023

Jim Walker has resigned as non-executive chair of Mader Group and will step down from the board on 21 April. Founder and executive director Luke Mader will then take over as executive chair.

Meteoric Resources has appointed Nicholas Holthouse as chief executive. Mr Holthouse has over 30 years of expertise in surveying, mine management, project management, construction and mining engineering. He will be tasked with progressing the Caldeira REE Project in Brazil, through exploration and studies to production.

Paladin Energy has appointed Dr Jon Hronsky OAM as an independent non-executive director. Dr Hronsky has over 35 years of experience in the global mineral exploration industry, primarily focused on project generation, technical innovation and exploration strategy development across a diverse range of commodities and geographies. Dr Hronsky was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for services to the mining industry.

Christopher Achurch has replaced Matthew Edmondson as company secretary of Star Minerals. Mr Achurch has extensive experience in providing expert audit advice to a number of major businesses across the exploration, mining and agricultural sectors.

Matthew Wilcox, chief operating officer of Tietto Minerals since January 2021, has been promoted to the board as an executive director. He replaces Mark Strizek who is stepping down after more than five years with the company.

Mike Stabb has taken over from Dan Smith as company secretary of telecommunications innovator Vonex. Mr Smith will step away from the company at the end of March following a handover period.

Zenith Minerals has appointed Geoff Rogers as an independent non-executive director. Mr Rogers has been involved in the resources sector for over 30 years, including significant project acquisitions and project financing for many Australian and international mining and mineral development companies.
