Babylon Pump & Power has appointed Chris Radin as non‐executive director. Mr Radin has over 30 years of experience across equipment rental, capital equipment, industrial and retail markets; including over 20 years in senior executive and managing director roles.
African mineral sands producer Base Resources has appointed Sheila Khama as non-executive director. Ms Khama has over 25 years of experience in the resources sector. She was a policy advisor with a focus on the resources sector at multilateral development banks, and held executive positions at mining companies operating across Africa.
Stirling Ross has resigned as non-executive director of Cyclone Metals in order to concentrate on other business interests. He joined the board in June 2022.
Dacian Gold has made some changes to its board and management structure with Gerry Kaczmarek taking over from Tony Kiernan as a nominee non-executive director representing Genesis Minerals, and current chief financial officer and company secretary Derek Humphry taking over from Dale Richards as interim chief executive. Mr Kaczmarek, a non-executive director of Genesis Minerals, has almost 40 years of experience predominantly in the resource sector, specialising in finance and company management with several emerging and leading mid-tier Australian gold companies. Mr Richards joined the company in June 2020 and was chief executive since June 2022. He is returning to the position of general manager for geology and exploration, with a focus on the exploration portfolio of the group.
Nerida Schmidt has replaced Patricia Farr as company secretary of Dynamic Metals. Ms Schmidt has 30 years of experience as company secretary of various ASX, TSX and AIM-listed companies in a variety of industries.
Simon Robertson has decided to step back from company secretarial roles and has resigned from his positions at Emyria and Orthocell. Emyria has appointed Susan Park as company secretary, and Orthocell has appointed Peter Webse as his replacement. Ms Park is a governance professional with over 25 years of experience in the corporate finance industry, and extensive experience as a company secretary and non-executive director for ASX, AIM and TSX-listed companies. Mr Webse has over 28 years of company secretarial experience.
Grange Resources has appointed ChongTao Xu as non-executive director. Mr Xu specialises in the investment of upstream and downstream processes for steel producers, and has extensive management experience in numerous private equity projects.
Heavy Minerals has appointed mining professional Andrew Taplin as chief executive from April. Mr Taplin has over 30 years of extensive leadership, strategic, operating and large-scale infrastructure project experience across various commodities including iron ore, copper, gold, coal and phosphate. He has worked extensively in Australia, Canada, USA and Africa.
Matador Mining has appointed current company secretary Carol Marinkovich as non-executive director. Mrs Marinkovich has over two decades of experience, and has been with the company since December 2020.
MGC Pharmaceuticals has appointed Rowan Harland and Arron Canicais of SmallCap Corporate as joint company secretaries. They take over from David Lim who is retiring from the role.
Torque Metals has appointed Andrew Woskett as non-executive director. Mr Woskett has over 40 years of project and corporate experience within the resources industry. He has been responsible for evaluation, definition, promotion, financing, and management of multiple resource projects in gold, base metals, nickel, iron ore and coal.
Benjamin Donovan has replaced Shaun Menezes as company secretary of Walkabout Resources. Mr Donovan is a chartered secretary and provides corporate advisory, IPO and consultancy services to several ASX-listed and public unlisted companies across the resources, agritech, biotech, media and technology sectors.
