Board Moves June 30, 2023

Neil Rose has retired from the board of Barton Gold, having been its founding director since May 2019.

Carbine Resources has appointed Glenn Whiddon and James Pearse as non-executive directors. Mr Whiddon has an extensive background in equity capital markets, banking and corporate advisory; with a specific focus on natural resources. Mr Pearse is an experienced corporate lawyer with over 10 years of experience working for national, international and boutique law firms; and  advising Australian businesses within the mining, oil & gas and technology sectors.

Peter Mullens has resigned as non-executive chair of GBM Resources due to increasing demands from other work commitments. Deputy chair Sunny Loh will take over as non-executive chair.

Pantoro has appointed Kevin Maloney, Mark Maloney and Colin McIntyre as non-executive directors, following its acquisition of Tulla Resources. Kevin and Mark Maloney are founders of Tulla Resources, and are chair and managing partner respectively. Mr McIntyre, an experience mining engineer and technical consultant to Tulla Resources, has been involved in gold projects and contract mining of open pits, underground mines, crushing and screening. Following these appointments, Scott Huffadine and Kyle Edwards will depart as non-executive directors, with Mr Huffadine continuing as chief operating officer.

Gabriele Sorrento has resigned as non-executive director of Vection Technologies and will transition to the advisory board where he will focus on further expanding the company’s strategic partnerships in the US. Mr Sorrento has been with the board since April 2020 and played a pivotal role in establishing and overseeing the company's operations in the US.

James Allchurch has resigned as non-executive director of Winchester Energy. Mr Allchurch has been a consultant with the company since December 2016 and was appointed to the board in March 2020.

Dr Christopher Haynes OBE has decided to retire after eleven years on the board of Worley. He was the inaugural chair of its health, safety and sustainability committee. The vacancy will be filled by Joseph Geagea who will join the board as an independent non-executive director from July. Mr Geagea had an extensive career at Chevron, including as executive vice president & senior advisor to the chair and chief executive.
