Board Moves July 28, 2023

Ramon Soares will be stepping down as finance director and company secretary of BBX Minerals at the end of the month, with Benjamin Donovan appointed as company secretary from August. Mr Donovan is the principal of Argus Corporate Partners which provides corporate advisory, IPO and consultancy services. He has experience across the resources, agritech, biotech, media, and technology industries.

Ziggy Lubieniecki has resigned as non-executive director of Cosmo Metals. He has been a founding director from incorporation through to the IPO, and will continue to support the company through the provision of technical services on a consulting basis.

DRA Global has appointed current chief executive James Smith as managing director, and Sandra Bell as non-executive director. Mr Smith has been a part of the executive leadership team since March 2018 and was appointed interim CEO in March 2022, before formally appointed to the role in October 2022. Ms Bell has been a director of numerous private energy sector companies in New Zealand and the United States including in upstream energy, conventional and renewable power generation, petrochemicals, and energy retailing.

Arron Canicais has resigned as joint company secretary of MGC Pharmaceuticals.

Resource Mining Corporation has reached a mutual agreement with Andrew Nesbitt to terminate his engagement as chief executive. Mr Nesbitt was appointed to the role at the start of the year. Executive chair Asimwe Kabunga will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company.

Lily Zhao, chief project engineer of Richmond Vanadium Technology, has been appointed to the board as technical director. She will be responsible for driving confirmatory metallurgical test work and process flowsheet optimisation as the company progresses the Bankable Feasibility study of its Richmond – Julia Creek Vanadium Project.
